ELTICOM is an official conference owned by Electrical Engineering Department, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and always supported by partners such as CYCU-Taiwan, Mapúa University-Philipine, Kansai University-Japan and Co-sponsored by IEEE for the last three events. First ELTICOM conference was held in Medan, Indonesia in 2015, and then the second in CYCU, Taiwan in 2016. ELTICOM conferences in 2019, 2020 and 2021 have been held in Medan with technical co-sponsorship by the IEEE.
